Wavelength International has a shared interest with our clients, and the communities they serve, to ensure that candidates we provide are clinically sound, of good moral character and are in good professional standing.

We are continuously being approached by candidates from all over the world. The vast majority are honest in their dealings with us but we must remain vigilant to ensure that you are protected from the few that are not.

Measures we employ include:

  • Disclosure – all candidates must sign a declaration that they do not have criminal convictions or health problems that affect work or professional disciplinary issues.
  • Internet Search – we use an internet search engine to identify any issues regarding the candidate that are in the public domain
  • Registration Search – we check with recent medical boards around the world, by phone or online for registration irregularities and disciplinary action
  • References – All candidates are subject to at least 2 verbal or written references, though we will do as many as necessary to satisfy ourselves of the candidates quality

Candidate screening is a key part of our service and our staff are all measured and rewarded on this. It is an ingrained part of our culture that we do whatever is necessary to protect our customers.

NOTE: Our processes are designed as an early screen to try to minimise the chance of a rogue candidate making it to offer stage. We highly recommend that our customers conduct their own checks prior to a final job offer, irrespective of other checks that might be carried out by regulatory authorities.
