John graduated from medical school in Aberdeen, Scotland and moved to Australia as a junior doctor in 1991. After starting his first recruitment business in 1994 he joined Morgan & Banks, Sydney in 1996 eventually working as the manager of the healthcare division. At M&B John’s portfolio included medical and pharmaceutical, including executive search. John has been a Director of Wavelength since inception in 1999.

Claire has a B.Arts (Geography) and a business diploma. She has five years experience in HR and management for a regional health service in the United Kingdom and medical workforce-planning experience for the NSW Health Department in Australia. She spent two years at Morgan & Banks recruiting doctors from overseas, then launching Wavelength with John in 1999 as a founding director.

Katerina Tordon

Katerina is responsible for the management of the Migration Services Division. Katerina's background is in migration law. From July 1999 until April 2006, when she joined Wavelength, Katerina was employed as a lawyer at one of Sydney’s leading law firms specialising in migration law. During this time Katerina assisted hundreds of clients to obtain visas across a broad spectrum of visa categories within family, business and skilled migration streams. Katerina holds Degrees in Arts and Law from the University of New South Wales. Prior to completing her studies, she also lived and studied at the Freie Universität, Berlin. Katerina is fluent in the following languages: Hungarian, German, Slovak, Czech. Katerina has held continuous registration as an Australian Migration Agent since August 1999.
In her employment with Wavelength, Katerina provides immigration advice in her capacity as a migration agent (MARN 9903288).
Ariel Hubert

Ariel obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in the United States and since has also achieved a Diploma in Workplace Training & Assessment. She travelled to the UK for an internship abroad whilst studying at University. Since graduation she has also travelled and lived in New Zealand and Malaysia. Ariel arrived in Australia in 2002 where she experienced the Australian migration process first hand. She was employed for over 2 years with a Migration Agency in Sydney, co-ordinating the processing of temporary and permanent work visas for personnel involved in the Equine Industry. She is currently studying to be a migration agent and is in charge of all administrative functions of the Migration Services Division.
Michelle Dominick

Michelle has a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Law obtained in the United States as well as certifications in International and Global Skills. She attended both Marie Curie Sklodowskiej and Jagiellonian University in Poland during her undergraduate studies, and upon graduation she travelled to London for further international work experience. Michelle moved to Australia in 2004 where she obtained a Masters Degree in International Business Law and subsequently completed an internship with an Immigration Law Firm in Sydney. She has been with Wavelength since September 2006, prior to which she was working for Qantas in a regulatory role.
Samantha Darbison

Samantha has come from a contract tendering and compliance background. She was involved in vendor management and tender evaluation at Woolworths - one of the largest retail companies in Australia and New Zealand. Samantha has also completed further education in Hospitality and Human Resource Management. She has been with Wavelength since 2006 and supports the GP team with their regulatory requirements.

Catherine has a Bachelor Degree in Teaching and has a varied employment background spanning education, banking, administration and project work. She has worked in both the public and private sectors in both Australia and the UK. Catherine has been with Wavelength since 2007 and is working with the RMO/Registrar division in a regulatory capacity.

Nicola obtained a Diploma in Education and worked as a primary school teacher before moving into recruitment. She has over 6 years experience in Medical Recruitment covering teachers, doctors and allied health staff. She ran the NZ branch of a UK based health recruitment company for two years before joining Wavelength in 2006.

Karla joined Wavelength International in May 2007. Prior to this, Karla earned 7 years Australian recruiting experience within the Commercial Accounting sector. Initially her role focused on attracting qualified accountants from overseas. She worked closely with some major clients in an account management capacity recruiting within their finance teams.

Ruth is an experienced medical recruiter and has been a divisional manager with Wavelength since 2001. She successfully recruited junior doctors and registrars for 3 years before accepting the challenge of establishing and growing the GP division in August 2005. Ruth has a wealth of knowledge about the complexities of registration and provider number requirements to place overseas doctors. Prior to Wavelength she managed the day care surgical unit at St Vincent’s Private Hospital in Sydney.

With a desire to work in the health sector, she took a role at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney in the Human Resources Department. Her most recent role at SVH was as a Human Resources / Industrial Relations Officer. Rebecca commenced with Wavelength in July 2005.

Kelly has a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Sydney. Her nursing career has spanned a period of 10 years and she has worked in a variety of large teaching hospitals in both Sydney and the UK. Kelly was last working at St Vincent Private Hospital as a theatre nurse before pursuing a role in international candidate management and recruitment with Michael Page in 2003. In 2005 Kelly amalgamated her recruitment and nursing experience and joined Wavelength, where she is currently the Division Manager of the locum team.

Amber worked in Harley Street London as a Pharmacy Technician for 5 years before relocating to Sydney. She joined Wavelength in 2004 and started recruiting overseas trained SHOs. Since 2006 Amber has focused on the recruitment of Locum Specialists and is currently leading a team of recruiters.

Anna joined Wavelength in 2006 after obtaining a Bachelor of Business (Management) from the University of Western Sydney. She started with Wavelength soon after finishing University as a Para-Consultant but was rapidly promoted to Recruitment Consultant at which point she joined the Senior Recruitment Team. Anna has recently shifted roles in Wavelength and now focuses on Locum Recruitment for Specialists.

Claudine joined Wavelength in 2005, starting in the Junior team, recruiting overseas doctors for permanent positions in Australia and New Zealand. In 2006, she joined the locum team, first looking after the junior doctors, then adding Anaesthetists to her list of charges. Claudine has 5 years recruiting experience behind her.
