What we do

Wavelength International is a niche healthcare recruitment and locum services provider. We deliver recruitment services to healthcare employers and facilities throughout Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

We have enjoyed steady year on year growth since inception in 1999 and our strength lies in the way we do business.

What we do

  • We purely place professionals in the healthcare industry
  • We specialise in international recruitment, migration and registration of healthcare professionals

How we do it

  • We thoroughly screen and credential candidates to ensure our clients are satisfied with the quality and safety of the person they are hiring. See Quality Assurance
  • We follow recruitment best practice, by only referring candidates that are screened for suitability, safety and motivation for your role. We will not fill your inbox with unsuitable CV’s
  • We pro-actively bring good candidates to you if we feel that they fit with your organisation so that you know about them before the rest of the market
  • We partner with you to solve your staffing needs – we do not “sell” you candidates
  • We manage the registration and migration process entirely for you when you hire an overseas candidate through us – and we get them there on time
  • We work professionally and ethically at all times. See Mission Statement.

Maintaining Standards

At Wavelength we constantly scrutinize our processes and work methodologies for ways to improve the quality and safety of our service. We believe that quality is key to success in our industry and our growth is testimony to the fact that our customers return to us year after year.

At Wavelength we value feedback and are pro-active in implementing improvements based on the advice that we get from our customers.

Australian Association of Medical Recruitment Agents (AAMRA)

We are a founding member of the Australian Association of Medical Recruitment Agents.
AAMRA was established in 2005, as a Special Interest Group, under the auspices of Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA). This Association provides a focal point for agencies whose business is the recruitment of overseas trained medical practitioners into Australia and New Zealand.

All AAMRA Members abide by the RCSA Code for Professional Practice and Disciplinary and Dispute Resolution Procedure (DDRP) and also the Commonwealth Code of Practice for the International Recruitment of Healthcare Workers.

Our online education modules and information seminars ensure that all Members are fully conversant with the intricacies of recruiting doctors from overseas and our relationships with Medical Boards and other government bodies allow us to have a say in many decisions made at a state and national level impacting on medical recruitment.

What you can expect from your AAMRA Recruitment Agent:

  • A high standard of ethics, probity and professional conduct
  • An in depth understanding of medical recruitment issues and regulations
  • Confidentiality and privacy for candidate and client
  • Full disclosure of fees, charges and services
  • A formal process for resolution of disputes between agencies
