Prior to Wavelength I was working in a dark, cramped, depressing office in the CBD. From the moment I walked into the Wavelength office (in Paddington), I knew I HAD to work here - the sun was shining through the glass walls, birds were singing, and everyone was walking around the colourful, open plan space with a smile on their face. When we moved to our current offices (a huge converted warehouse in Surry Hills) the welcoming theme was carried over too. When I joined Wavelength International 18 months ago I started on a temporary basis to provide short-term admin support. Since then I have been offered a range of training and development opportunities which has lead to my recent promotion to Recruitment Consultant - Junior & Middle Doctor Division. Wavelength International's work life balance policies make for an extremely happy and enjoyable workplace. The older you get, the more you realise how important down time and family time is. I make use of the flexible working hours and I also make use of the massage therapist that comes to the office on a fortnightly basis.

The culture at Wavelength International is a great part of the organisation - everyone is friendly, welcoming and hardworking. Also, with the wealth of experience across the company I find myself learning new aspects daily from my colleagues around me. The flexible working hours are another great aspect and assist in obtaining a work life balance. During the winter months I was able to start and leave work early which greatly assisted my running training for a half marathon I entered.
